I bought a set of Cooper Discoverer H/T's back in May for my wife's Escape. I've had Cooper tires on three different vehicles, and they've all been great.

Excellent tires

2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I have driven these in dry, rain, and snow....so far these tires are excellent. They may not look as beefy as the BF Goodrich, but so far they are outperforming the BF Goodrich I had. The noise level is much lower also. Definitely a recommend.
