These tires replaced the oem goodyear runflats. The improvement in all aspects are dramatic. I no longer worry about hydroplaning, and living in the Northwest, that is a major concern. The dry handling is as good or better than the goodyears. I drive somewhat aggressive, not crazy, but generally fast, these tires meet all my expectations and I can retain full control under all conditions so far. I have put 1500 miles on the tires and the comfort level is 1000% improvement over Goodyears. the noise level dropped many decibels, I can actually talk to my wife in a normal voice, and the tire soaks up road imperfections. All in all I think this tire should be provided from the factory. -- |

I replaced the oem Goodyear runflats with this tire. I can now have a conversation without shouting. Much quieter and smoother. bumps are cushioned and under control even in sport mode. Wet handling is no comparison. there is no hydroplaning. I believe dry handling is comparable to the goodyears, but I have only had the Michelins for 500 miles. Steering response is improved and no wiggles on worn hi-speed pavement. This tire should be on the car from the factory. -- |
