Have had three sets of BFG AT's. In the 90's they were the best tire on the market but now not so sure. The current set has about 25k on them and they are very noisy which started around 15 to 18k. THey still perform great in rocks and mud but highway noise is horrible. I think when these are worn out I will try the Cooper ST's.

I have been running BFG All Terrain tires since 1990 on all of my vehicles. I have had them last 50,000 miles on my F-150. I have them on my F-250 4 WD, Jeep Grand Cherokee, VW Vanagon Syncro and the 2 WD Wolfsburg. I have been in Baja and have ran them with little to no air and the sidewalls never broke down. A great tire in my opinion. David C

Not as good as they used to be!

My last set if BFG's went 100,000 miles. This set will be lucky to reach 35,000

Can't beat BFG All terrains, just a great all around tire. On the road they are quiet and handle well. Off road I can drop them to 10psi to smooth out the bumps and they grip everything. This is my 2nd set, tried another AT but it wasn't meant to be.

Purchased 7 years ago, have over 61,000 miles. Have worn good with rotation. Used in So. Ca. desert and AZ. desert. with no problems. Have not had a single flat tire. Mileage decreased with Application, but worth it in traction. Would purchase another set.

I love these tires, I have been using them for years and have found them to be very reliable and great performers. they aren't great in mud but better than most everywhere alse. Great traction in snow, sand, rocks, and on pavement, and they wear great, I got over 50000 miles out of my last set.

I've had maybe 15 sets so far of bfg's AT KO through out the years and everything from subaru's to xterra's and have they've never let me down. Also there one of the few Company's that sell the size 33x10.50R15 which is wonder for smaller suv's

Look I have now had 3 sets of these on my expedition since I bought it new in 2000. I'm just past 200k miles so they have never let me get stuck in deep mud or sand even pulled a few other chevies out of deep mud and sand while being in it. Lasted me for very long time 50k miles at least witch is good for a a/t and I've never had a flat ever. I rock climb and well always blew the side walls of my good years on my 01 silverado but never happened on same rocks with 00expo running these tires. Great in snow too my amazment not so good on ice lol. Highly reccomend these tires to anyone just make sure u rotate them or they won't wear so well.

The tires are awesome but I new they would be, that's why I ordered them. What I didn't expect was the excellent customer service from tire crawler(I think his name was Dan?) I had issues ordering it over the internet and they went out of there way to get me the tires I wanted and faster than expected. Good people. I will get all of my tires from them from now on.

Great tires!

2012 Ford F150 07/23/2014
11:26 am

I drive a 2012 F 150 Crew Cab, 4X4, regular axle with the 5.0 V8. I just had these tires put on my truck around 6,500 miles ago. Prior to these, I had a set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. They were ok, but were supposed to last 50,000 miles. However, when I got up to 40,00 miles they had worn very uneven and were very noisy despite being rotated every 3,000 miles and could not be balanced. I work on my families ranch everyday and I drive through a lot if sand and during the rainy season a lot of mud and quite a bit iof that is deep and very sloppy and slick. This is one of the areas where the Duratracs did great. So, when it came time to get a new set, I was a little hesitant about the Bfgoodrich All Terrains, since their tread is not as aggressive or as open but I needed a set if tires that I knew would last 50,000 plus miles and be great on the highway since I drive two hours to work one way. Well, it is the rainy season and our ranch is muddy as hell, and let me tell you, that not only are these tires getting me through some of the nastiest mud on our ranch, they go through it without spinning much at all and better than the Duratracs! So, don't let anyone tell you these tires suck in the mud or aren't for the mud. I know for a fact they are great in mud because I put them through it everyday.
